Thanks to Apple’s app store, I can now update on the go. Now maybe I’ll do it more often.

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally got to spend the majority of my Bush Check. And this is what I got. I toyed with getting an 8 gig, but I ended up with the white 16 gig, being the first person of the day to get the white. I wanted one of these since they came out, but I’m glad I waited. It’s totally addicting. I LOVE it. We went to the AT&T store at the Mercer Mall in Bluefield, getting there at 7:45 am. I was just hoping they’d have at least one of any kind left when we got to our place in line. Well, the store had 30 iPhones (10 of each kind, 8 gig, 16 gig black, 16 gig white). I was the last person in line. And there were only 6 people in front of me. In the end, one of them dropped out before they got the phone, so I got number 5 of the day. And I’m happy I’m still in WV for at least the iPhone launch day, because I was finished and using my phone by 8:30…before the system to activate it crashed!

I’m going to see Janet in Greensboro!  This will be the 2nd time I’ve seen Miss Jackson in concert and I’m excited.  Maybe next up I can get some Madonna tickets in Atlanta with my stimulus money?  Maybe?  After the iPhone?  We’ll see, so stay tuned.

I spent the recent 3 day weekend heading out to different theme parks and amusement parks in Kentucky and Indiana. I had a lot of fun, even if it did end on somewhat of a sour note. I’m also in the midst of changing some stuff on the site, adding things, polishing images, and I’ve even added the ability to blog photos (even though this is not a blog) to my website from flickr. This photo was taken last weekend at Indiana Beach, and the trip reports for Indiana Beach, Holiday World, and more will be up shortly.

I’ve updated to the latest version of WordPress. I’m fooling around with different colors and some nicer graphics for the site as well.  Started training for my new job this week, and I’m excited over the finale of American Idol. Both Davids did great.  This weekend as long as all goes to plan, I’ll be heading out for some coaster fun. Where to? I guess you’ll have to check back next week and see.
